Eric is the founder and editor of Phrom-Phong.com. He built the site to be the guide he wished existed: one place with honest, current information about living in and visiting the Phrom Phong area — the condo directory, the quarterly Rent Index, the hotel comparisons, and the practical guides.
The editorial approach is simple: no invented facts, no "official" claims, and approximations labelled as approximations. Where something is uncertain — a rate, an opening time, a lease term — the site says to verify it, rather than pretending to know.

Our Story
Phrom-Phong.com started in 2022 when Erik, a Swedish expat who had spent a decade helping friends find apartments in Bangkok, realized the same questions kept coming up: "Which neighborhood is best for families?" "Can I walk to the BTS?" "Is this condo actually as nice as the photos?"
The information existed, but it was scattered across Facebook groups, outdated blog posts, and real estate agents with obvious biases. Erik wanted to create something different: a single, trustworthy resource written by people who actually live here.
Today, our small team combines Swedish attention to detail with Thai local knowledge. We visit the places we recommend, verify the information we publish, and update content when things change. No fake reviews, no paid rankings, no hidden agendas.
