The youngest of the EM District trio — a food market, an IKEA, a concert arena, and the one mall in Phrom Phong built for after dark.
EmSphere opened in December 2023 beside Benjasiri Park, two minutes from BTS Phrom Phong (E5, south side). Come for the EM Market food hall, the IKEA city store, and — if there's a show on — UOB Live, the arena on top. It runs later than its siblings EmQuartier and Emporium, so it's the district's evening option.
What EmSphere is known for
EM Market food hall
The ground-floor food market is EmSphere's engine room: street-food-style counters in air-conditioning, spanning Thai staples and international snacks. Cheaper and more casual than the sit-down floors above.
UOB Live
The arena on top has quickly become one of Bangkok's go-to venues for international acts. If your visit coincides with a show, book dinner in the building and make an evening of it.
The IKEA city store
A compact IKEA in central Sukhumvit — a genuine everyday convenience if you live nearby, and a novelty stop if you don't.
Late-night rooftop scene
The upper floors lean into nightlife with rooftop venues and a beach-club-style bar — the reason EmSphere is the one EM District mall you might arrive at after dark on purpose.

All three are connected to or within a short walk of BTS Phrom Phong (E5). EmSphere sits beside Benjasiri Park — the park makes a good decompression stop between malls.
Getting there
BTS Sukhumvit Line to Phrom Phong (E5), then the south-side exits toward Benjasiri Park — the mall is a couple of minutes on foot. Arriving for an evening event, allow extra time: on big show nights the station and the park-side pavement are genuinely busy.
